Students, faculty and personnel extend their help during the Brigada Eskwela at MHPNHS.
Volunteers from LCUP gathered at the Marcelo H. del Pilar National High School (MHPNHS) on May 21-23 to participate in the Brigada Eskwela program of the Department of Education (DepEd).
The program had the theme “Matatag na Bayan para sa Maunlad na Paaralan.”
A total of 236 students and 17 faculty members and personnel, led by Dr. Maria Lourdes Cervantes of the Community Extension Services and Outreach Program (CESOP), volunteered for the three-day cleaning and re-painting of the classrooms at MHPNHS.
Brigada Eskwela aims to promote the bayanihan spirit among educational institutions across thecountry by providing assistance in the preparation of public school facilities for the upcoming school year.
